Sept 2020 – Virucidal Report:

Equipment: Air neutralizer OXIRA

Air neutralizer:  OXIRA

  1. Modelo: Sentry_UV-C (254 nm)
  2. Modelo: XN_UV-C+O3 (185nm)

Virus tested: Coronavirus strain MHV-3 genus Betacoronavirus (same genus and family SARS-CoV-1, SARS-CoV-2, MERS and others).

Action of “OXIRA Air Neutralizer Equipment” on Coronavirus and in different contact times

Model: Sentry UV-C XN (Nocturne) UV-C+O3
(254 nm) (185nm)
Immediately 99,99% (virucidal) 99,99% (virucidal)
After 5 minutes 99,99% (virucidal) 99,99% (virucidal)
After 10 minutes 99,99% (virucidal) 99,99% (virucidal)
virucidal: having the capacity to or tending to destroy or inactivate viruses
Conclusion: Considering that 99.99% of viral contamination was inactivated, it is possible to conclude that OXIRA Air Neutralizer Equipment was effective in destroying particles viral. Therefore, we recommend the use of “OXIRA Equipment: Sentry_UV-C and XN_UV-C + O3” as a potential disinfectant / virucide for the Coronavirus group and for the time of contact from 1 minute. Conclusive Report of the Efficacy Assessment for reducing the concentration of viable bacteria and fungi in a hospital environment

“the equipment produced by Oxira has quality recognized worldwide, certified in international safety standards for the use of radiation and electricity: EN5501: 2019, EN61547: 2009 and CRF47 part 15. Equipment equipped with a low pressure mercury lamp that produces radiation in the range UV –C, such radiation has a germicidal effect on viruses, bacteria and fungi, a phenomenon that has been studied and proven since the end of the 19th century.”

“In view of the results, it can be concluded that the technology under study generates improvements to indoor air quality, reducing the concentration of viable bacteria and fungi in hospital environments”

77% reduction in Bacteria  and 45% reduction in Fungi after 180mins - tested against 1000 litres of air.

 Royal Melbourne Inst of Technology

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology is a global university of technology and design and Australia’s largest tertiary institution. The University enjoys an international reputation for excellence in practical education and outcome-oriented research. RMIT offers testing services at its facilities, and was chosen for our test.

A random batch of OXIRA units were submitted to the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) for testing for its efficacy on reducing airborne bacteria.

The laboratory carefully selected two commonplace bacteria that is often found in our daily life – E.Coli and Salmonella.

After a period of controlled testing, it was shown that the OXIRA units effectively restricted the spread of both common bacteria.

Conclusion: The tests have been carefully planned together with the laboratory, and it has shown that the presence of the OXIRA unit has effectively reduced the growth of two very common bacteria. These two bacteria have been chosen because of their commonplace in our daily lives.

“How can something so small make such a difference?   Science!”

OXIRA has been developed to help protect from airborne virus, gems, molds and fungus.  First introduced as part of the fight against SARS, the OXIRA has been proven to be effective against and wide range of airborne infections.  Using enclosed UV-C and AxR catalytic technology OXIRA have developed a safe and compact highly efficient air sanitiser.

Not only effective against Covid but a wide range of infections including TB, E-Coli and the seasonal colds and flu.  They are designed to be part of our long term “Healthy Air” policy
